Change blog software?

I'm thinking about changing the software I use to generate this blog. Right now, I'm using blogger to generate it but I'm not too crazy about not having control over what it does.

To that end, I've been evaluating blosxom. It's written in perl, thus I can hack the crap out of it. The plugin architecture makes it particularly attractive. The navigation elements leave a bit to be desired though (but that's what plugins are for!).

As always, my faithful readers will be the first to know about new developments.
